About
My name is Robert Perry. I have over 20 years’ experience in the automotive and engineering industry, built on high-quality workmanship, problem-solving, and a strong passion for vehicles — particularly electric ones.
I’ve worked across a wide range of independent and main-dealer workshops, delivering projects from restorations and resto-mods to electric vehicle conversions. My experience spans classic cars such as Facel Vegas to modern classics like Mitsubishi Evos as well commercial and more unusual builds, including double-decker buses.
I now specialise in EV upgrades, and custom work, combining traditional mechanical expertise with modern high-voltage systems. Safety and best practice are central to everything I do.
Today, I operate as a mobile mechanic, travelling nationwide to bring this expertise directly to you — whether for fault-finding, or bespoke EV projects. I pride myself on clear communication, honest advice, and getting the job done right first time. If you have a project in mind, I’d be happy to help, please get in touch.
Qualifications
- Fully insured with public liability cover up to £1 million
- IMI Level 3 & Level 4 qualified in electric and hybrid vehicle repair
- Certified to work safely with high-voltage EV systems
